INformation on Farmall h needed

Hello, I need help on finding out the year of my Farmall that I just b ought. It is a Farmall h the serial number is fbh 205728 can some one let me know what year that is.? Also it has a loader on it. Can I hook up hydraulic connections on the back of it so I can pull my transport disk. ? thank you for any and all help I very much appreciate it. Fred

You can go up to the top of this page where it says "resources", go down to where it says "serial number" and you can look up the year by the serial number you have. As for running a loader and a disk its going to be a tuff thing to do. All your ports from the belly pump work at the same time which is one direction so to have something hooked up to run different from other attachments is going to need some creative plumbing valves and will be quite awkward to operate.

For the hydraulics we used to tie the cultivator lever back with a rope/wire and then run the pressure line to a regular remote type of valve with hoes going to the back giving us 2 way valving with pressure both ways as much as an H will have which is only about 800PSI on the later models. IF you put the pup on driven by the timing gears you can get a bit more not sure what that would be. It would be live hydraulics though . There is also an issue with the cam gear breaking on some of the older models .

You can block up the loader with a pair of 1/2 pipes cut to hold the cylinders extended enough to clear the ground, but not way up. The 1/2 pipes should be cut longways from a single pipe or tube with an ID just bigger than the ram. Using canvas or cloth to protect the ram, and hose clamps to hold the half pipes in position. this allows the hydraulics of the tractor to be valved to the rear. 3 Pressure rated 1/4 turn valves and a T, or a 3 way switching valve, and a single 1/4 turn valve.
The 1/2 pipes are placed on the rams, the loader lowered to zero the system pressure. The shutoff 1/4 turn valve is closed, the 3 way valve is switched and pressure and return are nor directed to the rear. (single acting). one 3 way source

If the ram seals of your loader cylinders don’t allow much leak down you can forego the additional pipes to block up your loader. The 3 way valve will block the fluid in the cylinders. If they do leak down slowly you can occasionally stop and turn the 3 way valve back to raise the loader more and change it back to implement operation and go on. The leak down situation would require additional vigilance during road travel.
Edit: Incase you didn’t find it you hav a 1945 model.

My super c has shut off valves on the cylinders. Run the loader up , and close the valves. in my case, I hit the divrter valve and the hydraulic switches to the fast hitch . It was dealer installed in 1954 and works fine.
