injector housing outside diameter??

OK- I got the injector out and repaired the washer gasket. The whole injector came out and was loose in the head. I measured the injector housing diameter to be 1.0180" and the hole 1.0212" meaning there is a clearance of ~ 0.004". I read somewhere that this is supposed to be an interference fit. Can anyone tell me the specs for the OD of the injector housing and the ID of the hole in the head? Thanks!

It is what it is. If it were a press fit you would still be trying to get it out.

It doesn't make sense that it would have both a press fit and a gasket.

The gasket is inside the injector. I did not see a gasket between the injector and the cylinder head which is where the sloppy fit was. There are 2 studs holding a cap that cinches the injector against the head- maybe that is all that holds it in? I don't know, but it doesn't seem like that would be enough.

There is an injector insulator between the Injector and the Head. It keeps any compression from leaking by.
