Injector leak down tube

Go to an auto part store and get the 1/8” flared brake line in the length you need. Then get a brass compression coupler. Put your end of the brake line into the flare tee or fitting whatever. Then connect/splice the new and old with the compression coupler.

What is the problem with your line? Nothing wrong with clamping a piece of hose on if you have a little bit of tube on each end. There's hardly any pressure.

Pretty sure that's a 3/16 tube. Fitting is 1/8 npt which is not the tube size. Any good hardware store will have the fittings. There's one that goes into an inverted flare and the other end is for a compression fitting. Makes life easier.

The problem is on both ends the flare was split. Which is where it was leaking. Therefore I will have to flare at least one end. Fittings are not npt. Yes going into the block is npt which I can change to whatever I want. The bottom of the T under the fuel tank is 1/8” inverted female flare. So that’s the end I’m having problems with. I cannot change that T because it has a riser on the inside on the tank. I can’t get the T loose from the bottom of the tank because I don’t want to take a chance on ruining the tank. Also it is half full of fuel! The tube that was on there was definitely 1/8”! If you try to put a npt into an inverted flare it will leak. Which is the problem in the first place! Any more ideas?

Have you tried to find brake line with 1/8” fittings? If you find something by all means show me the description and I will definitely work on getting it. Also I don’t want to spend a fortune on the brake line and shipping.

try the center section of a compression union in the hole where the return line goes. Those unions used a couple different thread pitches and might match the thread pitch of the hole.

If it threads in smoothly and bottoms firmly, put a little pipe tape on it and there is your compression for the tank end.

There is an adapter with male inverted flare to female compression but a quick internet search raised nothing; I know they exist because I have a few in a drawer at my shop.

If it really is 1/8 tube, you may have to find a reducing union to try the other idea.

1st one is the tee out of the tank. 2nd one is the brass 90 coming out of the block. 3rd is the side of the motor showing tank on top.
