injector pump

I have removed all lines and mounting bolts and pump will not come off, is there something else holding it on that I need to take off. Getting fuel in crankcase and is there something I should know about keeping in time when replacing. This is on a d155 international dozer, three cylinder. Thanks so much. pittypat.

i going take a shot it this but i belive you need to remove the small front cover and and remove nut on end of shaft to remove that pump. leave the gear in housing so when pump is repaired you can reinstall and not worrie about timing the shaft is keyed

Mr. brown you are right about taking the injector pump out on a d155 and I want to thank you very much, but I still have a problem, still can't get it out of the timing gear, do I have to tap it out or is there something still holding it. There is three 1/2 inch bolts around the shaft were the nut was, bolted to the gear does these bolts also have to come out. I sure hope you can help, thanks again. pittypat.

i dont think you have to remove thoes bolts they are for fine tuning the timing. but i could be wrong you might loes them and see if you neet to remove them but i am thinking you need to remove the nut just loes it up and tap it lightly back the nut off far enough so you hit it and not the shaft end, you may have to fashion a plate to push out the shaft on front cover. i was also wondering if you checked your lift pump to make sure its not dumping fuel into the crank case

Mr. Brown ,Thanks for your reply. I think it will be a good help...now I need to ask another question...the only pump I know of is the one which goes to the injectors...if it has a lift pump, I don't know where it is...do they all have lift pumps ? Thanks so much for your time and help...pittypat

some of the tractors had alift pump it should be on right side of engine just trace out the fuel line and see if it has a lift pump it may not have one

Mr. Brown, I finely got the injector pump off and I thank you so much. The seal on the shaft is bad. Do you know where I can order on line and get a repair kit for it. been everywhere I know of and can't find anything. I've called around close and no one around knows either. I sure hope you can help me once again. I thank you for everything you have done and everyone else, thanks. pittypat, from kentucky.
