injector removal on 400

I have a Racine 400 and cannot get the injectors our. The factory shop manual simply said remove the fuel lines, retainer nuts and pry them out. This is a tractor I 'm scrapping, so the pump is out and their is nothing in the way. Thanks for your 2 bits - Larry

If you have a air chisel/hammer use a blunt tip to shock the injectors from both sides. Then pry.

It would only be carbon holding them in. As they usually pull out pretty easy.

I get my best Crows foot bar behind them and then tap on them with my plastic hammer. I t ap down not on the end. Sometimes I've had to use a steel hammer, jut be very careful not to damage them.
