inline 300 six in a 901

A friend put one in an Oliver 70. He pulled the transfer sled right off the track and down the road. Next year they had two Jersey barriers there.

Is there a frame rail on a 901? I have never owned one or really looked one over that close I just assumed they used the engine and trans like the N series for the frame. If that's the case an adapter plate
and some extensions on the hood and steering etc. should be all that's needed. I've seen V-8's in Farmall's and Massey 44's so why not.

The Funk conversions both V8 and inline 6 used added structural support so that block wasn't the only support for front axle.

SPeaking of repowers. There is a CO OP 3 tractor for sale here and was on our last tractor ride. Besides being able to accomodate a bigger Chrysler engine, the space
around the engine is so huge, you could put anything into it, probably even a hemi! I could not find any examples of such, probably since there were not many made and
few survivors, but it sure would be easy compared to some of the repowers.

The prior model rowcrops do have frame rails. They would have to be lengthened to accommodate a 6 cylinder.
Frame rails from a 6000 might possibly work?

i do have a oliver 70 and i was allready thinking about that , a 6000 or a commander 6000 would be neet but i think if ihad a 6000 i would probley restore it . are all
the 6000 selecto speeds ?
