I finally figured out this picture posting thing. Here's a photo of the setup I use for baling hay. The tractor is a '45 Farmall M, the baler is a JD 214t, followed by a EZ trail bale wagon. I'm baling about 40 acres with this setup. I really like the wagon as I don't have to rely on someone to help stack hay on the wagon.

Hi John, I never saw a set up like that. Is that a coveyor from the baler to the wagon. Maybe you could tell us how the wagon works. Thanks.

The way the wagon works is the bales are forced up a chute by the force of the plunger. They then drop into the basket. When it's close to full I've learned to climb up and redistribute the bales so I can fit another dozen or so in the basket. It can hold up to 100 bales. When it's full you just drive to where you want them and pull a lever and the whole back swings open and the bales dump on the ground. It's gentler than a bale thrower, (One more thing to break down) and you don't have to unload the wagon by hand. I've seen them for around 3K on ebay, but I paid a little more than half that for this three year old one.
