I ordered a new fuel gauge and sender for my 730 gas. Old one is out and new basically installed. The gauge will not tighten up against dash panel to stop from moving. I don't want to strip the threads or do any damage. Has anyone else ran into this? Do you take out the little nuts under the plate so it tightens farther? Any ideas? Thank you
