Installing new gauges

I'm in the process of rewiring my 52 8n, decided I wanted to eliminate electrical as any part of my chronic starting issues.

So to that end I'm replacing all of the gauges as they weren't operational. I got the gauges here so they should be correct, but they don't fit in the holes..I sanded the hole some to be sure it wasn't paint. Any suggestions for how to get them in?

ught to be obvious! Either hole needs to be made larger or get smaller/right size gauges to fit hole.

Fair enough, so I can gather that the factory hole diameter is smaller than www.yesterdaystractors.com/Ford-8N_Ammeter_A0NN10670A.html

I really didn't want to cut into the panel if I could avoid it, guessing it's unavoidable. Unless the gauges sold here aren't actually the correct size.

Good chance there made in the land of almost right so there not the correct size. Time to contact Y-T and havethem fix the size problem

If YT got a batch of wrong size gauges, they will want to know before any more go out.

I suspect they will get the right ones or give you a refund.

Good luck. I replaced the gauges on my tractor and after 215 hours use one by one all of the gauges have quit working. The temperature gauge I think quit the first day or two.
