International 2424 help

OK, a lot things to happen since I was here last
I did get the tractor up here. I checked one screen so far it was clean by the valves . The oil was kind of dirty and old, currently soaking in diesel to flush it. Is there anywhere I can put a pressure gauge to the hydraulic pump to see what pressure it’s putting out attached below is pictures which one is the hydraulic pump Also what does the screw by the fan do has a nut and bolt on it is that some sort of adjustment or hydraulic pump?

The screw by the fan is an adjustment for the engine governor which is inside that half a coffee can sized casting, it controls engine speed and maintains the RPM you set the throttle at. The photo shows the pump, amazingly it is right where the hydraulic pipe and hose connect.

Those pumps are spendy. I recently replaced mine on my 424. I did finally find one that was around $ 400. All the rst are about $700. You do have two dial{ round0 handles} one of which controls flow and thus speed of the lift.

Yes I do they are both turned the right way, and it still seems to lack lift power, is there a port anywhere I can tap into to put a pressure gauge on?

Yesterdays tractor may also offer it. Be SURE that you use the correct part number as there are slight differences. I had to have a corner machined off mine as it is actually for the 2424 and I have a 424. It worked perfectly after I returned it and they machined a small portion off so I could rotate it into place.
