International 250A steering issue

We have an IH 250A that steering became impossible as steering wheel was to hard to turn. Ran loader to top limit and bottom. Tilted bucket to both limits. After doing that to shock(?) pump we have nothing on steering wheel. It’s spins completely freely with no resistance and no action at front wheels?

Hello Guy, welcome to YT! I would suggest you post this in the Farmall and IH forum in the YT manufacturers section and hopefully you’ll get some replies there. I think the 250A industrial is part of the machines CaseIH didn’t support after the merger same as the crawlers etc. that were sold off to Dresser. If it is somewhat similar to an ag model hopefully someone there can say what model. On tractors that IH continued to support I can look up parts diagrams and to a degree help people out with those machines, in this case I can’t do that. Sounds like some kind of a priority valve got stuck unless a seal blew completely out of the front steering unit whether it is cylinders or a steering box.
