Got a 384 fuel tank 2 pin holes on bottom from rust, thinking about cleaning inside then sandblast inside with 50 60 psi.they braze the pin holes, clean sand out tank.pour murtic acid into tank and rotate tank to coat inside with acid.flush tank with water and baking soda, flush tank with water.flush tank with acetone.at last pour por15 inside of tank and rotate to coat inside they drain rest of por15 . Tank doesn't have baffle.am I doing anything wrong. Thanks

POR15 does not stick to clean steel! It does stick well to non scale based rusted steel. POR 15 Gas tank sealer would be a good choice. I would sand blast the outside bottom and apply fuel rated epoxy and glass fiber over the whole bottom to assure there is material that can continue to serve. There may be many other places just waiting to fail on that surface. Jim
