Tractor has 2000 loader that is slow to redpond and will not lift load.Power steering and 3 point work fine.Have put new filter on.Any ideas?

Hello Daceos, welcome to YT! Have you had the tractor a while? If so this will tell us if you know at one point if it worked better than it does now. Did this problem happen all at once or slowly get worse? Have you changed the filter and fluid? If the loader plugs in the stock tractor remotes it would be good to know what a psi a gauge reads plugged into a remote. This is where it is hard to beat diagnosis with the “flow rater” testing tool. A worn out pump could very likely be the problem.

To add to what used red wrote, there is also another possibility that the loader is powered by a "stinger pump" driven by a driveshaft off of the front of the crankshaft.

So, to help those who are trying to help you, we need to know if the loader hoses are plugged into the tractor's remote hydraulic couplings, and if so, are there two or 4 hoses plugged in?

Does the loader have it's own valve?

Is there a hydraulic pump up front, driven by the crankshaft?

I used to have a 3414, industrial version, with a loader. It had a large pump on the front of the engine for the loader/backhoe and another running off the timing gears for the three point and hydraulic steering. That pump could have been either a single pump with a flow divider or a tandem pump with separate feed to the steering and lift. It would help to know which you have.
