Thanks for the advice on the 504(My previous post)I've had no dealin's(at least that I know of) with a tractor that has T/A.I'm okay with engines, clutchs, transmissions, so on, but how can I know if the T/A works properly? I'm gonna try the tractor out tomorrow.

Just drive the tractor in a high gear and pull the TA back and hit the brake. If it doesn't pull or stops pulling and makes noise it is likely bad.
