International tractor model

It should be on the little steel plate where the serial no. is--unless that plate is missing. You may have to look around a little to find it. Different tractors had them in different places.

A picture would also help. You may have to make a few more posts before the site will let you upload one.

A picture or two will help immencely. As said, try to find a SN/data plate. Post a pic of that two. In 1974,IH had made over 5 million tractors, with a hundred(or more) different models. So there are a lot to
choose from....

Hello Michael welcome to YT! Not all, but the better
majority of IH tractors have the serial number plate on
the clutch bell housing. Not sure how familiar you are
with tractors, but at the back of the engine is a mating
line where it bolts to the rest of the tractor. Usually the
serial number tag is within a foot of that split line
which is the clutch bell housing I referred to. I will link
a site called Tractordata and their list of IH tractors.
You can go through that one by one to see if one looks
like what you have. There is also another whole line of
tractors produced by IH under the name Farmall. On
Tractordata if you click the bold header that says
Tractordata you will find the section for these listed as
well.
The post limit to be able to post pictures was removed
earlier this year so you can post pictures right away.
Here is a short rundown on how to post pictures. I
would suggest putting in one per reply, then maybe
two if one works okay.
.. ..Pictures post through the ..Browse or Choose files..
button just below where it says ..Upload
Photos/Videos.. down lowered in the ..New post and
reply windows, see the picture as an example an
example of how the button looks on an iPhone.
Clicking that will give you a choice to select the file or
folder the pictures are stored in on your PC or phone.
Then select the photo from the file and ..Add.. it. They
cannot be pasted into the text area as a file.

International tractor info on Tractordata

The Tractor Data site referenced leaves a lot to be desired. There is no mention of the Farmalls and if you click on the link there labeled Farmall, it takes you to another long list that includes the W series which are definitely not Farmalls.

I see the Made in England on the serial number plate and I sort of recognize the serial number plate as belonging to the Bradford, UK, B250,B275,B414,434,444 series tractors.
Please post a photo and we can identify the tractor.

Photos please, from the front showing the grill, from rear, from right front of engine showing hydraulic pump and lines and front axle.
Also look at right side of engine block just to upper right of oil filter there should be a raised flat surface with the engine model stamped in it,
like BC-144, BD-144, BD-154. Is it gas or Diesel? What country do you live in USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia? These IH Bradford built
tractors were shipped to many countries.

(quoted from post at 13:49:58 06/20/23) I thought I posted some yesterday but I guess they did I not load in. I will try again today.

I see you have some posted up in Tractor Talk.
