Good morning “Old tractor lovers “ from another “Old tractor lover”! I just aquired my Ford NA. (that’s all I can find on the stamped engine ID plate). I just sold my Ford 1220 of 30 years and am embarking on a new adventure with this one. I bought this because I have a Jeep with the Ford 300 6cyl. And understand that the 2 engines are related. I’m looking forward to getting it running better and using it to mow my 20 acres here in Claremore, Oklahoma. I love to work on old machinery and just finished building my own dream shop(finally at age 72) and look forward to talking tractors with all of you soon. I sent a pic. Can anyone tell me what year this tractor is? Thanks

Please post some pictures of the whole tractor.

That number doesn't do me anything. You would have NAA, not NA. The Naa or Jubilee that many call them would have a large nut on the end of the axle. The NAA would have the serial number stamped just below the flat spot on the bell housing to the left of the starter.

Here’s a few pics of my tractor. Thanks for the replies. I’m not sure where to look because it really doesn’t have a bell housing does it?

If the tractor is more or less original it is a 1954 NAA judging by the hood emblem. For basic information and clear pictures of where to look for the serial number go to the page below and scroll down to The Jubilee-NAA. Note the serial numbers shown on the page are by manufacture date but there are only two model years which are 1953 and 1954.

Thank you for your help.

Dogsix,Your tractor does share a few internal engine parts with 223 and 242 6000 Ford engine as well as 223 truck /car engine. I think 300 is quite different.

In your first picture, if you look behind the top bolt of the starter, looks like the model & serial # is there. Probably have buff some paint off.

Uh isn’t this a tractor forum?
Dogsix, welcome to YT! Just so you know the purpose of my reply is not to scold or reprimand you, rather just to inform you of what you might find here on YT. While yes this is a “tractor forum” this doesn’t mean that individuals here know nothing about other mechanical realms. While staying “on topic” is preferred, it doesn’t necessarily happen. Gary very likely knows the inline 6 cylinder installed in Jeeps up to 2006 is based on an AMC designed 6 cylinder from 1962. If you swapped a 300 Ford into your Jeep that is fine, all that is needed is a reply stating that fact. It won’t be the end of the world if you make such a statement here even if it is not directly related to “Ford tractors”
Edit: To your question in reply 12 your replies and interaction are fine.

I agree with Andy. It looks like a 1954 NAA. It's definitely not an N series (9N, 2N, 8N). It should have a 134 ci 4 cylinder gas engine. If the engine is original, the raised casting number on the side of the block should be EAE6015.

Understood. Because of my newbie status I didn’t know if it was acceptable for me to go off topic like that. I will feel more comfortable as I learn the ropes here.
Why would a Jeep have a Ford 300 6 cylinder in it?
I like the low end torque produced by the 300 6cyl.
