IPTO stuck

Very good points, Jim. I did check the bearing when I was putting it all back together after replacing the pump and the bearing is in excellent shape, but I noticed now that the seal is leaking a little bit even before I added the slip clutch. As I was adding the pto extension and slip clutch, I noticed the shaft wobbles around due to the extension shaft and slip clutch, so you’re probably right, I should relocate the clutch to the mower gearbox and eliminate the extension. The other reason I put the clutch on the tractor was because the mower gearbox has a smooth shaft with a snap ring preventing the u-joint from sliding forward when the shear bolt shears. I ordered a splined shaft clutch, but I did notice they had smooth shaft slip clutches also, so I guess it’s back to the drawing board for me.
