A lot of them are making it up as they go along. Never in a trade to learn the lingo. "You know, morrons"A lot of the video makers are neither level or plumb!
Lot of nitwits on youtube. It's why you have to watch many on the same subject and use the information common in all of them. Vertical is plumb.I watch a lot of YouTube and constantly see people using a level vertically and refer to this as being level. When a level is being used vertically you are not leveling it is plumb. You're thoughts.
Well knock me over with a feather! I would have never guessed that.I am, by nature and experience, a crochety old man, easily annoyed. (I doubt this comes as news to anyone that's been here long...)
You got that right.I often remind myself that just because some bozo has a video camera doesn't mean he has the first clue what he's talking about.

One of the things that grinds my gears is somebody posting a video purporting to show how to do something, then spending 12 minutes of a 15 minute video talking about it. Just freaking DO IT ALREADY!
Exactly,, If one picks any subject that he is reasonably proficient at and then searches that subject on You tube (or any other cyber mediums for that matter) He will see that a small amount is factual, a bit more is far enough off to lead people astray and a large percentage is just plain false.Lot of nitwits on youtube.
Similar to calling a engine a motor.I watch a lot of YouTube and constantly see people using a level vertically and refer to this as being level. When a level is being used vertically you are not leveling it is plumb. You're thoughts.
Google "Motor Grader", then tell me how many of them don't have an engine.Similar to calling a engine a motor.
Well putThe 'Influencers' that make those vacuous film clips are usually ' plumb stupid ' and far from ' level headed ' .
Or it could be kittywampus. Not wanting to start a discussionbut if it's not level or plumb - is it out of kilter or is it skewiff ??
Like bozos at CNN,Huffington Post, CN NOW, CBS,NBC,,,,,,,,,,,,,,?I often remind myself that just because some bozo has a video camera doesn't mean he has the first clue what he's talking about.
