Not many options were offered on a new model MT. Tire size, type of frt axle & selective control valve to name some of the options

where would i be able to find the full seriel number or date of build

Serial # will be on tag by ign switch on the dash. To determine build date one must contact 2 Cylinder club & provide them with serial # at the following link. JD M was built from '47-'52 . https://two-cylinder.com/

Probably won't help. Most of the records were lost with only some from the last year of production remaining.

The best way to date it close is to look at the radiator tag if it's still original.
