I see them on Craigslist in the upper Midwestern states. Good to get started now so you can find tractor specific components along the way. Would not mind having one for a project and play around with. Pretty far down on the list of priorities at this point in time for me. Good Luck.

There was one on Chicago, IL Craigslist very recently but did not say what it fit. Most of the ads turn up mid summer as the antique farm equipment shows start happening. A little ahead of the fall picking season. Having said that things turn up all through out the year. There are estates to be settled and people are always cleaning out barns and sheds so you never know when something may turn up. Something like that may very well turn up in an old fashioned farm auction which normally get started in late February and sometimes sooner. Patience and persistence will pay off at some point. You might have to travel a little further than you expect to get one. You buying to take to shows or planning on putting it to hard work?

Chicago ad is gone at this point in time. It was up just within the last few days. Another thought is to place an ad on Corn Picker Forum although I suspect it does not get very many views anymore. Be patient.

The IH 234 picker will fit many different tractors with a universal mounting kit. My dad had one a 4020 John Deere.
