Isolator Valve/Standpipe

I have finally had the time to install an isolator valve on my MF50. I got the lift cover off by unbolting the 2 bolts that hold it in place and the standpipe came out when I lifted the cover off, figured it would. I replace the upper o-ring on the pipe as well. Now, I then put the standpipe into the new selector valve and fit it back into place. I am not getting any oil when I bump the starter. So my questions are should I put the standpipe back in seperate from the valve? if I do will the standpipe drop out of site and reach? Or is it just not seated correctly? That seems the obvious choice for me but any thoughts would be appreciated.

It would appear that the bottom end of the standpipe is not engaged in the port of the hydraulic pump. It is possible for the pipe to drop down inside during removal. At worst this would entail the removal of the right hand side cover to retrieve it. Remove the retaining bolts from the isolating valve and using a back and forth turning movement lift the valve carefully. If the pipe is not engaged at the bottom the it should come out with the valve. Check the O ring groove at the bottom just in case of any damage.
When ready, lower the valve and pipe in slowly. Make sure that you keep the valve level at all times. When there is a gap of about 1/4" you should feel the pipe 'bottom'. There is a chamfer on the pump port so with a little movement you should feel it start to engage. After this has happened check that the valve face is square. Don't forget the O ring in the valve face. Give it a firm push downwards. It should engage fully with a satisfying 'clonk'!
Tighten the bolts to 55lb.ft. You should now have oil flow to the exit port or 3-pt as long as you have the correct one selected.

I ended up draining some hydraulic oil out so that I could see exactly where the standpipe was to seat down. Got the isolator valve on and the 3pt works, but when I move the selector to the aux position the plow will not pick up. I may need to switch ports on the valve itself as the hose then goes to the valve block to control the plow. Anyway at least the standpipe is back and isolator valve is installed. Thanks DavidP

You will probably have to lower the 3pth a little, switch the valve to remote and then raise the 3pth lever again to get pressure on the remote.

You can NOT use the 3-point and the "diverter" valve at the same time. I like the term diverter instead of isolator, it makes more sense.

You are diverting the oil from the lift cylinder to your aux cylinder when you shift the valve.

So like I said I have the isolator/diverter valve installed (TS300). When in the 3pt position it works fine. Now, when I put the valve in the selector position for aux hydraulics for the front plow nothing happens. Are the draft and position levers supposed to be specific positions to use the auxillary hydraulics? Anybody familiar with this TS300 selector valve?

On my 40b I have to have the draft lever all the way back and the three point lever in constant pumping in order to get power to my remote. I am not sure of the set up of the TS300 valve. DH
