It started here in Southern Illinois a couple weeks ago with corn and beans. I seen a few fields of beans that must have been very late, short and green still. Also seen a few today drilling wheat too.

The neighbor hasnt started beans yet. They are still working on corn.

I have not seen any done yet here though they will be cutting this coming week or next if it stays hot and dry. Thursday we are in for 3 days of rain so may not be going till after that. I have about 80 acres with most of the leaves off now and some still green. I may put the corn head on one machine and the flex on the othersoI can do which ever we need to. Most of the corn has just started to dry the bottom leaves on the stalks now.Corn is a few weeks away yet. Stalks are green at the ears with green husks yet. Not even starting to turn down yet.

we had 100 acres real early beans we cut at time we started picking corn 3 weeks ago. was told at elevator we were first new crop cutter. we got some about ready n some hope frost dont hit.
corn picking is bad 1 field dry next 1 wet. many here round us going through same thing

Soybeans started coming off around me over a week ago here in South Central Ontario. Corn fields are starting to take on a definite yellow look. Much of the silage crop has been chopped.

Nice picture. I haven't seen anyone start here in central NY. We haven't had a frost yet, so they're still pretty tough. I can't remember a year going this late without one. Some guys are chopping corn, but it's still pretty green

Today is the first day for Concord grape harvest for Welch's here in Michigan, trucks started rolling past our place about 0600. Ours are testing ready to pick, but we usually are near the end of our harvester's schedule, up to two weeks out.

No field crops harvested yet in any of the fields I passed on my way to work this weekend, beans are losing leaves on the sandier soils, but nowhere near ready. I know of no silage corn within ten miles of my place.
