It started!

Well my son finally got the 175 to start. He is very excited about it to say the least. It did blow a bunch of stuff up out the muffler. Looks like carbon build up? Any idea? It has been sitting for around a year

Rust flakes out of the exhaust manifold. Anytime steel or cast iron parts sit, especially if they have been hot enough to cook the oils off, the metal rusts. Especially where condensation can collect, such as inside an exhaust manifold.

Well she seems to be running fine. now to get the rear wheel and brakes fixed and he migh be able to use it this summer
