to get started and cleaned up for the tractor show june 1st weekend in westlock. sitting in the shed about 6 years since last started. drug it out and had to remove the starting tank and clean it out from old gas. put some batteries in it and gas and it fired right up. still has 1/2 a tank of diesel in it. no rack stuck or anything. generator works to. i have owned this 1951 wd9 since 1988 and had it at the westlock tractor show in 1990 for their first show. i used to pull the thrashing machine with it also 17 miles to town, and use it for the thrashing demo. this tractor only has 3400 and some hrs on it. was just thinking , i didnt have grey hair back then either. thought it be nice to take it back after all these years .
