And it stayed up all night. My three point lift that is after almost 2 years of trying to fix the hydraulics on my 53 I finaly got it to work.I found so many things wrong that it's a wonder it ever worked.
The last thing after rebuilding the lift cylinder was I was getting lots of volume from the pump but no pressure. So I rebuilt the pump nothing to it,it's really simple. But still no pressure lots of volume but no pressure.
Well it was ether soundguy or jmor who sugested applying air pressure to the test port on the pump to see if I could see air bubbles in the sump.Well it was more than air bubbles it blew the oil right back from the high pressure side to the sump.
To shorten the story it was I had the wrong gasket on the back side of the plate inside the pump.
I put the the pump buck on and it works like it should.
I still have the pressure gauge in the pump test port it's fun to see the pressure go up then to zero with the slightest movement of the position control lever.
Thanks soundguy jmor Zane TOH and all you guys who helped solve this problem.A special thanks to the folks who invented viagra who helped me get it up.No wait that's another story.
Anyway it's up and working.
Thanks again
