J.I. Case

Went to local Case dealer to get a couple bearings for my disk. When I told parts kid it was a Case he said ok Case-IH? I said no just a Case. He didn't even know what that was. He thought everything was Case-IH.

I've had the same trouble. There supposed to be trained parts men but I guess you can't blame them. The dealers don't want to mess with the little stuff and old stuff anymore.

The NEXT thing you know, it'll be "...don't you mean Case-New Holland and not Case-IH?"

It's almost as if these people want us to forget the old stuff.

Maybe you were lucky. I bought a bearing spool for my John Deere KB disk 5 years ago. Cost over $78.00 then. Sure would hate to build a complete disk with those prices... Gene
