I have a 1989 Jcb 4 wheel drive 1400b backhoe serial # 14bt4110360914 7 ... It shifts Forward/ Reverse ( book calls it a syncro shift) on the left side of the steering wheel column and has a 4 speed manual shift on the right side on the floor( with clutch pedal on left side of brake pedals) ...It has only one fill tube or spout instead of 2 to the transmision ... I need to know a recommended modern fluid to use in the transmision .... the book says to use jcb special transmision fluid and gives a international spec of ESP-M2C 33G ... My oil distributer says that spec is no longer available and not valid anymore... I have been told to use 10 w motor oil by one jcb dealer and 10 wt hydrolic oil by another ....I have also been told to use type f and type fa transmision fluid and another jcb dealer said to use dextron 3 ATF... also have been told to use 10 wt tractor oil HELP HELP HELP
