JD 1010 electrical polarity

Is the electrical system on the JD 1010 positive(+) or negative(-) polarity? What's the procedure for reversing the polarity if it's incorrect? I think this one is not correct. Thanks.

Im NOT a New generation guy so NO warranty, but I think as long as they still used generators versus alternators they were still originally POSITIVE ground. If you change polarity you have to Polarize the genny BEFORE you start it up,,,,, If it had an ammeter its leads need swapped,,,,,,,if its a coil ignition its polarity sensitive, match it to battery i.e. for Pos ground the + goes to distributor but for neg ground its - goes to distributor
