new to me tractor, got around to changing the trans/hyd fluid last evening, the stuff was nasty. I've removed and drained the front reservoir, dis-assembled and drained the supply and pressure lines in the middle of the tractor, removed both plugs and drained the transmission, and of course will add a new filter.
Is it advisable to flush the transmission, if so with what? Will the new oil dilute the small amount of old oil left in the system where it will not degregrade the new fluid's performance substantially?
Just looking for advice from those with experience! Thanks in advance.
