JD 175 Rebuild Kits Continued...

So I read the thread just a few lines down on the subject of rebuild kits, and I've just run into an issue myself that maybe someone can help me with. I found the number RE27340 on my tilt/bucket cylinders, and found those kits no problem. However, my lift cylinders are numbered RE26498, and I can't find those anywhere. Not even a complete cylinder. Has this number been replaced? I can't find any info on that either.

Thanks for any help on this matter.

Like your loader pins, I don't know where you are looking or getting the part numbers you are using. RE26498 shows in the JD parts catalog for the 175 Farm loader PC1850. RE26498 subs to AH150043 which subs to AH215452. It looks like Rod kit AH212088 and Bore kit AHC13485 are required.

If you don't have a parts catalog below is a link to the online 175 Farm loader parts catalog so you can check what I found for yourself before you order anything.

Baum Hydraulics is a source for aftermarket seal kits you might want to check with.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking online at the same link you provided. I got the parts numbers stamped on the cylinders on my FEL. When I search, I see 6 different options for LIFT CYLINDER, but I don't see any cross reference to get the two AH numbers you provided. Perhaps I'm missing something.

Also, thanks for the Baum Hydraulics reference. I will check them out.

*Correction-I was looking at this link:

Using your link, I am finding some matches. Thank you again for the help.

Photo below should be correct seals for cyl part # RE26498. My many yrs of experience looking up/selling JD parts tells me one needs to order seals for correct part # cylinder not cylinders with substitute part #s. In a quick part # research I didn't see AHC13485 associated with cylinder part # RE26498 but I could in my old age overlooked it.

For future JD part # researches go to part search function on JD parts site & enter part # then one can access/view parts catalogs that when viewed will disclose location of part # in each parts catalog. See photos below.

Thank you, Jim. I stand corrected on looking at the substitute cylinders' kits.

I did notice the item key numbers 19, 20, and 21 shown in the bore kit don't appear in the drawing

You're welcome.

I was just attempting to help locating correct repair parts but my reading comprehension isn't near as good as it once was. Back when I was first employed by the JD dealer it was explicatively explained to me that one needs to read part descriptions & footnotes before selling/ordering parts
