JD 2240 hydraulics

I have a high serial number 2240 with a loader. Every so often, when parked and operating the loader the front tires twitch when I use the lift or bucket levers. I have also had this happen while moving and I raise the loader and it snatches the steering wheel out of my hand. Seems like pressure is going into the steering system when activating the loader, but I am not sure how or what to check. I did just change the hydraulic oil and change the filter and clean the screens. I had this happen a few times last year as well. Any ideas?

Did this fix your issue? I have a 2240 as well with hydraulics issues. John Deere shop split the tractor and replaced 17k worth of parts and it all worked for 6 months and now having issues again. I have a front end loader and here is what happens. the front end loaded doesn't work unless the 3 point hitch is in the raised position. I also use the tractor to cut grass. about 30 - 45 minutes of use the steering will temporarily go out and must power through until it comes back (about 15 seconds). 3 point hitch is jerky in raising. I guy working on the tractor is a retired JD mechanic, so he has experience with older tractors. He tells me the tractor has the proper pressure but looks like its lacking in flow and for the life of him can't figure this one out. we have replace the hydraulic screens and the hydraulic pump as well as 17k other parts from the transmission back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is high pressure internal leak. With hyd oil at operating temp using laser thermometer check for hottest control valve. What type valve controls frt end loader(ind or scv)? Isolate & cap hyd line that supplies power steering with pressure then check hyd performance.
