JD 2320 swather

does anyone have any input on these I am going to look at one this weekend for 3500 seems to be in good shape and everything works has a 12" mower with good rolls on it the machine has a Chrysler slant six

I had one for about 20 years, a 21 ft. dsa with cab. Fairly reliable, the slant 6 was easy on gas. There's a couple small links for the steering underneath the platform that wear out, they had swivel ball ends something like a 3-point hitch ball only a lot smaller. Might not be available from JD anymore - I made some up with parts from the hydraulic section at Princess Auto.

I guess they were generally a good machine but it's getting so you can hardly sell an old windrower sometimes.
