JD 2350 Axle Leak

My 83 JD 2350 4WD left side seal is leaking. We replaced the seal but still leaking, slower but leaking. There was a slight wear groove on the yoke and was hoping the new seal would fix that. The axle schematic shows a breather above the filler plug but there is not one, There is a flat circle but no breather.
A friend of mine suggested to look into micro sleeves.
Thoughts?

Lots of seals involved with that axle. You might get more (or better) responses if you identified which seal you have problems with.

What is your axle serial number? According to the notes in the parts descriptions, axles serial number 017998 and prior used a plug (#4). They started using the vent (#26) with axle serial number 017899 and after. If an axle didn't have the vent, one would remove the plug to vent the housing and aid draining.

I can only assume the vent or plug would be where the round flat area above the filler plug to the right. I could not find a plug, I will look again.
A friend mentioned Timken Redi Sleeves for the yoke groove issue, or replace the yoke.
