Purchased this 2440 this spring Changing transmission filter & screen (one below seat). Screen won't come out. have feeling maybe never been changed Any ideas on how to get out?

Put longnose pliers on screen & wiggle screen gently back & forth while pulling on the screen.

Sometimes the screen is so destroyed in a case like this that it should be replaced. Inspect it carefully.
