Hey y'all I'm hunting for a good 3010d crankshaft. Mine spun a rod on the dryer this fall. I know it's like searching for hens teeth but here's hoping thanks Joel

Hello:

Not sure how much money you"re wanting to spend but new aftermarket ones can be purchased. It looks like the price of a used on refurbished with a core versus a new one is about $250 difference. Try www.agkits.com or all states ag parts(www.link_disallowed)
Abiline machine may also have them.

I got my last one from Anderson Tractor in Bluffton Ohio 419-358-8846 New I think it was from Spain, which is better than China...

Thanks for the leads. I haven't pulled mine out yet but in all the jd 3010/3020 cranks I have seen, and it's been a bunch I have come across one that spun and didnt crack so I'm not to optimistic. Dose anyone know if a 500b backhoe loader has the same engine or at least crank?

I have a lot of connecting rods hanging around that are from a 4010 I belive they are the same? As far as using the crank over my local machine shop charges 200 dollars just to chek the crank for cracks straightness and to see if it can be turned wich I thought was a lot if the crank is just scrap!
Is that in line with what it should cost? Thanks Joel

That's a bit high for my area...and it's a good idea to put new pin bushings in and re-size the rods...yes the 4010 rods are the same..

Thanks Tim. What do you think is a reasonable price to get a crank checked ? Honestly my othe concern is I have heard rumors of problems with the local shops crank grinder being "off".
