We have been using our 3010 on an auger and the battery was getting weak so we put a charger on it and accidentally arced it when hooking it up. Now it won't turn over at all. Is there a fuse somewhere we blew? (this is 12v positive ground). It may not have been charging properly? How do I diagnose this? Also - we have been thinking of some upgrades to the tractor. Would this be a good time to upgrade the electrical system? such as, change over to negative ground, change to LED lights? I would appreciate any thoughts. Thank you.

Did you clean the batt connections and the ground to the frame? Do the dash lights or fender lights come on ? Did you remove the cover that the ign and light switch is on to see if everything is plugged in and then check the circuit breakers?

Make sure it is in park, I also think it will start in any neutral position but not certain. Just double check gear shift position, kind of slam it into park.

Charge the battery for 12-24 hours. Load test the battery and check "at rest" voltage which should be about 12.6 volts. If the battery checks out okay, start the engine and run at 1,200 RPM. Check the voltage across the battery and if voltage is 13.5 - 14.5, the tractor is charging.
