JD 3010

This JD 3010 gas has the shifter on the dash.
It won"t go in a few gears and I believe it"s gear 1 , 2 ,4 ,6 the problem is internally.
I"ve split tractors before to replace the clutch.
But have been told that it"s something with the gear selector within the gear box.
What could it be and is it a easy fix and roughly how many hours would it take.

Synchronizers are worn out. You will have to split the tractor and replace them. Syschronizers are on the top shaft in transmission. I did mine two years ago. I found good used parts and saved alot of money.
