JD 310 C Backhoe will not move

Posted this down below in the JD forum, but go no reply's, so I am going to try it here.

Our 310C Backhoe will not move. It was running when my dad used it about a month ago. He was going to move some hay and it would not move. It did move about a foot then stopped. I tried it and if you rev it up it will rock a little bit, but will not move after that. What could have happened to cause this issue. Could it be the transmission or a linkage problem? Thanks in advance for all help.

That happened on our 310A, the linkage on the dump ("clutch") pedal wasn't allowing the valve to fully operate and was not getting full pressure to clutch packs.

How long since reverser filter(key 4) has been changed? Filter PN is
AT101463

The filter has not been changed in three or four years that we have had the machine. To be honest didn't know it had one. Will check it on Friday. Thanks!

i am new to this forum. i m having the same trouble with my 310c , does anyone know how to get the break down picture of the shuttle shift lever linkage. Any help would be appreciated!
Where can you download a shop manual for this tractor?

You can view 310 C parts schematics for free at JDparts.com. Be careful attempting to download tech manual as some contain viruses.

I think the dipstick for those is under a cover on rt rear of hood. Just saying it may be just low on fluid. And may just need service. There is a suction screen in the little oil pan. Make sure you put a new oring on the tube for that. Also there are some real small screens in the hose fittings to the oil cooler lines were they connect to the shuttle housing that can plug up over time. Let us know what you find?
