Does anyone have any knowledge/experience about the lifting capacity of a 2008 JD 3520 tractor? Also, the same about whether or not the tractor would be good on really steep hills? I live at 8600 ft. and am looking for a tractor to haul dead trees and push snow at 8600 ft. Very steep!! Lots of dead logs

Not that tractor specifically, but I've got a relative with the 4320 I believe, which would be similar. This is one of the JD mini series, basically overgrown lawn mowers in my opinion. I wouldn't want one of the minis on really steep ground personally, but they are probably as safe as most any other tractor from rolling over.

Google says the 3 point hitch will lift 2000 pounds which is probably true. The 4320 my relative has will handle a 5 foot brush hog or a 6 foot 3 point finish mower without any problems at all.

With chains on it, I'm sure it would push snow as well as any other machine it's size. I assume it is 4WD, most of the minis are.

At that altitude you should get one with a turbo. Skidders that worked fine at 1,000 el wouldn't hardly pull themselves at 8,000 feet.
