Currently have a JD 40 standard with cultivators. I can only get my rear tire width down to 54" outside to outside. the white planter I have plants 30" rows, this makes for a tight fit. That's the first problem, what I really want to know is what is the best route to go with the type of end on the "C" tines that are currently on cultivators and tool bar? It currently has the pointed tips, but my soil is hard, and they don't seem to do a great job. Would a sweep work better? What size and angle for a 30" row? I was thinking of swapping to a "S" tine but don't think that will work because of the orientation of the 2" tool bar. Do they make a "S" tine that will work on a tool bar that is orientated like a diamond looking at end of bar? Thanks! Learning as we go!!
