I have a 410 backhoe. That looks very similar to the one on mine. You might check with JD to see how many models will interchange with it.

Wengers equipment in Myerstown, PA has a used parts department for both construction and agricultural equipment where they buy machines and part it out. They might have one. I'm sure they would ship if they do.

It looks like your 400 has the valve for the 50 CME pump with power steering and equipped with hydraulic drive mower, from the parts catalog description. R39323 is the housing part number, and it subs to T120368. Those numbers should help you in your search. I didn't find a part number for the complete valve, but it appears some use those numbers for advertising the used valves. You could call PartsASAP and see what they have. eBay has a used one listed.

I've found that parts from my local dealer are sometimes cheaper than from a specialty shop.
