[stumped Decorah ,Ia.]

Saw a JD 4055 with just under 2000 hrs. bring 48,000 dollars today,tractor looked good but not that good.

I saw a 4240 bring $38,000 on an auction here about 6 years ago. Same sale had a Super H Farmall bring $4200. So $48,000 for a low hour 4055,I can see it.

We have both 4055 and 4255 on our farm. IMO the best tractors JD made. Not sure about paying that kind of price for one but with low hours and great condition, may be worth that to some. Hard to find those beauties with low low hours.
