I can't get my 420 lp to start, just put nos century h lp regulator on it. when i open the lp vapor valve i get lp to the regulator but no vapor to the outlet side of the regulator. should lp flow out freely or only when you pull a vacuum through the carburetor when turning the motor over? how can i check the lp regulator ? any info will help. thanks Mike

An LP regulator should always limit gas flow to less than background atmospheric pressure. If it passed LP through as soon as you turn the key switch on, forgetfulness could lead to disaster.

This will be no help to you, but I have a 420 LP and it is the best starting tractor I have ever dealt with. Can set for a year and will start right up.

Good luck.
