JD 420W

A friend of mine has a JD 420-W tractor he'd like to sell. It does need some work but engine has been rebuilt by a good mechanic. I would use it as a utility tractor, 5' brush -hogging ect. I've read a lot of 420's were built and that parts are available. Any experience/feedback on this model would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sweet little tractor, lots of them made. Depending on your conditions a 4 foot bush hog might be a good choice because of the h.p.

They are a handy size tractor. I have a 430U and use a 5 foot mower but in grass, not brush. Parts available new and used and easy to work on
