I usually just set back and watch I find the reading quit interesting. This time I need a little help. A friend has picked up a JD 440 crawler Diesel. the only problem is the final drive is torn apart. Wondering if any one has a parts list and break down for it so we can get it back together. thanks in advance

You can download the parts list for the JD 440 ICD (diesel) at JDPARTS.COM for free.
Once you sign in, look down the left side where it says "Manuals", go to search, type in "440ICD".
You will also need the service manual but it is not free.
The best site for crawler questions, parts, etc., is JDCRAWLERS.COM.
