my JD 4450 powershift started slipping in some gears today while mowing. 5th,7th,9th,11th,and 13th slip. didnt check 15th. reverse and the rest seem fine. the rear powershift unit was gone through in 2022, all new clutches ect ect. only has about 250 hours on it. light duty, discbine and pushing snow in the winter. any ideas update, pulled filter, has metal in oil and oil is burnt.

Trouble shoot! What is your powershift working oil pressure. Plumb in a master gauge and check pressure? Low pressure causes slipping. Maybe a sticking shift valve not allowing oil pressure to these gear pistons.

Ditto check & record pressures in each gear. PS trans has a trans/diff disconnect located at lefthand rear of operators platform so pressures can be checked while tractor isn't in motion.
