JD 450c Dozer transmission issues

Just got this 450c dozer. After replacing a hydraulic hose and filter we fired her up and right away she started moving. (Was in neutral). Push the clutch in or apply the foot brake she stops. Does not steer. No resistance in either steering lever. Will change gears from 1st through 4th. But the HLNR does not appear to make a difference (does not go in reverse). Any thoughts before I tear into the clutch plates?

Hoping there is something that needs minor adjustments or a tap with a hammer Smile.

Sounds like the HLNR is out of adjustment and the steering clutches need adjustment or repair.

I just bought my second 450C and downloaded a repair manual earlier today. Mine won't push against anything and can barely move itself
around in any gear F or R. I'm interested to hear what you come up with and wish you the best.
