JD 468 round haybaler wrap problem

On my 468 net wrap does not wrap automatically. The alarm sounds when it gets to the set size but I have to punch the wrap button on the monitor. When I first bought this baler it started wrapping automatically when it reached the size that is set. Any help would e appreciated. Roy

Have you looked in the operators manual under the section called diagnosing malfunctions? Are all the connector pins protruding evenly in the wiring harness quick disconnect?

I looked in my 467 balers operators manual and didn't find a solution. My next guess would monitor malfunction. Have you checked voltage by switching to channel #15?

Call your JD dealer there is a glitch in the monitor hey can tell ya on the phone how to fix it not hard but I can't remember. It may not ever happen again or it could happen tomorrow.

yes the voltage is up to par. I bought a new net wrap switch today. I will run the baler tomorrow and see if this fixes it. Thanks for your input. Roy

I had a JD tech come out to my place. He couldn't find anything wrong so he swapped my monitor for one of his and his worked. I am shopping for a rebuilt monitor. Roy
