Jd 500b tlb interchangeable parts?

I'm about to buy a 500b backhoe parts machine to break down for parts. My question is about the PowerShift Trans. I belive the casings are different but I am unsure. But I was hoping the planetary was the same as a 4020 if any one could shed some light. Thanks

They are near the same as a "3020", I have never compared them exactly but my guess is they the same casting as the 3020..

There was a SN break but it appears the older trans case part # was subbed for the later part #.
AR34012 1 - 67999 STUDS, PINS, AND BUSHINGS, (MARKED R33080) (SUB AR39619)
........ TRANSMISSION CASE 1 68000 - STUDS, PINS, AND BUSHINGS ( AR39619 NO LONGER AVAILABLE) (MARKED R34910)

Putting AR34012 into the "where used search" box this shows up.
