JD 520 Taper Lock flywheel?

Does anyone sell a Taperlock setup for a 520? I have a customer that came into my machine shop today and wondered if I could put a Taperlock hub into his flywheel because he can't find one for a 520.. Turns out that Allen Machine is apparently out of business... I'm just wondering if these were ever even offered?

Matt, You say Turns out that Allen Machine is apparently out of business... How is it you know that, have you talked to them
directly? You might be ok with a good replacement. I have done that with a 60 and had good results.

How bad are the splines on his crankshaft???

Well, the reason I think they are out of business is that the phone only phone number I have found for them is disconnected.

As for the crankshaft splines, I have no idea. I've not actually laid eyes on the thing.

It's looking like a good used replacement is his only option from the sounds of it..
